Protected Harbor provides a Failover Cluster Software that allows you to create either regularly shared storage or a Protected Harbor Cluster with local storage for High Availability. Protected Harbor synchronizes storage using real-time synchronous for LAN (Local Area Network) environments or asynchronous for WAN (Wireless Area Network) environments data replication.
Our Failover Cluster Software supports fault tolerance and hot failovers with zero RPO (Recover Point Objective and a millisecond RTO (Recovery Time Objective) for High Availability. The result is that a system or a server failure causes no data loss and is completely undetectable to the user.
This is a Microsoft Management Console (mmc.exe) snap-in, just like the Hyper-V Manager. Aside from a dependent on Windows Explorer components, it is relatively simple and requires no special hardware or software. As a result, it is not compatible with Hyper-V Server or Windows Server Core deployments. It can, however, be used to operate such hosts remotely.[/wgl_custom_text]
A Master Node, a Primary Failover Node, and zero or more Secondary Failover Nodes make up the cluster. The master node is in charge of all operations during regular operations. All failover nodes are in standby mode and keeping an eye on the master node’s status.
In the following scenarios, the Primary Failover Node is automatically moved to the activated Failover Master Mode:
- The Master Node’s network or power is down.
- The Master Node of the 3-node PH server cluster failed due to significant hardware or software failure.
- When the Master Node fails, the cluster’s Secondary Failover Nodes are moved to the Primary Failover Node. In this instance, the entire installation will be held in reserve.

Each node in the cluster stores the cluster’s and service’s configuration. Changes to the service or cluster’s configuration are transmitted to each node automatically. This allows you to change the settings of all participating nodes with a single update.
Each node in the cluster computer objects may have access to the operating system, physical servers, networking, and storage resources. The hosted application can pool these resources to boost cluster performances beyond what a single node can provide. This shared storage and resources can be specified as startup dependencies for the program. To ensure resource consistency, the nodes can collaborate.

Cluster Performance Optimization
Load Balancing is used to disperse the load in the cluster among the primary servers. We also provide this service to customers whose IT already runs on multiple servers. DNS Load Balancing and DNS redirection are also available.
When releasing new versions as part of development, our cluster will take care of the easy scaling of apps and their continuous rolling updates.
Protected Harbor solutions offer High Availability and Disaster Recovery in one package. The cost and complexity of SAN-based replication are eliminated with this method. You can set up a multi-node failover cluster with nodes in several locations to protect your systems from disasters if you can replicate numerous targets.
With the Protected Harbor advantage, you can make your failover cluster more resilient to data loss by replicating the data from one cluster to another. In the event of a catastrophic failure, such as the failure of the physical host server, the failover cluster will automatically transfer responsibility for providing failover services to another physical host server.
In the process of transferring data to the new physical host server, Protected Harbor will also make a second, synchronous, offline copy of the data.
